How to Wear a White Tunic

Hi guys! Hope you’re all having a great weekend. Ours has been absolutely wonderful so far. The sun has finally returned to LA and it’s been gorgeous out! After being cooped up in the house for almost 2 months, it’s such a treat to be able to spend time outside with the kiddos. When I open my door and walk out I feel like I could drink up every single breath of fresh air. It’s heavenly!

Anyway, I did a few Instagram stories and got some questions about the white tunic I’m wearing so I’m blogging about it quick today. Many people aren’t sure how to wear a white tunic and I honestly don’t think there is a wrong way to wear it. I have written about it before and you can see me wearing it at the beach with shorts HERE. It’s on the pricier side, but it’s great quality. I just really love this tunic and think it’s such a beautiful piece for spring and summer. And for fall as well actually! It looks really cute with a pair of leggings and boots too. So many way to wear it!

It’s definitely on the sheer side. I usually wear a pretty bralette underneath but if you’re not comfortable with that you can also wear a white or nude cami. Actually I’m wearing a white cami underneath it in these photos. It has some pretty great reviews on Nordstrom‘s website as well. This weekend, I paired it with a pair of dark skinny jeans. I really love this pair and I got them for $10! If you’re a member of Just Fab you have to get these. And I wore leopard flats with the look too. I love leopard flats and think every gal should own a pair.

I’ve also written about my hat many times. I love it because it comes in different sizes and I have a huge head so it was an absolute score for me to find a hat that actually fits my head. I’m wearing a size large. But you can get a size small if your head is on the small side. You’ll be seeing me wearing this hat all spring and summer long because it’s definitely my go to. And the last thing I’m wearing is this faux leather wallet crossbody. I like to use it when I don’t have to carry much. It essentially fits my phone, keys, cash and credit cards. Perfect if you want to feel like you’re not carrying anything at all.

I will link Molly’s little outfit as well. So cute right?! And her floppy hat just kills me!!! I can just see the summer pics of her sitting at the pool or beach in her swimsuit and this hat! Eeeekk! I can’t wait!

Hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend! xoxo

  1. Ali, it was fantastic to meet you, Kevin and Molly today at the Fashion Mama event. Molly did great in the fashion show! I feel like we could have talked all day about motherhood and like I mentioned super excited to try the willow when my LO arrives in 7 weeks. Thanks again for all your great mama hacks! Motherhood wouldn’t be the same without you. Enjoy our sunny LA weather this weekend!

    1. Sooooo nice to meet you! I did a little shout out to you on my insta stries the other night! Hope you saw!!! And you are going to LOVE the willow! Game changer!

    1. I normally wear a medium and got a medium. But I probably could have done a small too. So I would say your size or one size smaller would both work!

  2. This outfit is adorable on you – I love that you wear so many different styles and they always look fresh.

For all the moms and/or grandmothers out there – yesterday while loading a 4 and 2 year old into the car I placed my keys on top of the car and forgot about them. Driving up on the expressway I heard a noise and quickly remembered what I had done – but to late I drove back to check – no luck. So I am getting a tile a cheap investment after losing two keys fobs house keys, office keys that will total almost $500 to replace. Just a heads up in case you might me distracted by busy toddlers.

  3. I absolutely love this white top! I wonder if there is a cheaper version?? You seem to have the magic touch at finding affordable alternatives !
