Casually Put Together

Hi guys! I’m at work today – I’m wearing this outfit – and I knew some of you would be curious about the look so I thought I’d throw up a quick blog post about it! It’s not so much of a styled look as it is a top but it’s just one of those great pieces that you can throw on and be be out the door so I wanted to tell you guys about it.

I actually got this top before my trip to New York and wore it for a press day I had in the city. It was a casual press day and I thought it would work perfect. I got a size medium but I tried on the size small when I was at the store and I could’ve gone either way. The only reason I went with the medium is because my boobs change sizes throughout the day because I breastfeed. Not as much as they did when I was breastfeeding Riley in the beginning, but they still do change a bit throughout the day. When I tried it on, it might seem slightly snug around my boobs because I was due to pump/nurse Riley. But other than that, I probably could’ve gotten the small. If you have a larger chest stick with your normal size. My normal size is a medium so if I had gotten the small I would’ve been sizing down.

I’m also wearing my tribe necklace that I pretty much wear every single day. I’ll show it to you guys in Insta stories again today if you want a better look at it. I absolutely love this necklace and I wear it as a best friends necklace with my bestie. It’s from my jewelry line with Emerald Duv that I’m beyond proud of! I designed it because I thought it would be so cute for a group of girlfriends to wear, proudly showing who their “tribe” is! The chain can be worn at different lengths. I tend to wear it at the longest length because I like to layer short necklaces with it. So I hope you guys check it out! My rings are also from my line with them.

And last thing I’ll talk about is my purse. I posted about it the other day and a few of you let me know that it was on sale for 50% off! I didn’t even realize that when I posted about it the other day. So you can get it for only $32 which is such a great price for a bag with this kind of structure. I love it and I know you will too!

Anyway, just wanted to write a quick blog post to tell you guys about what I’m wearing today. Hope you guys are having a great Wednesday!

  4. Can you tell me which necklace you had on when you were in ny and Emma was doing your make up?
I don’t think it was the tribe one
    Thanks

  5. Hi Ali,

Everything you wear is devoted to you … In particular this blue striped top.
This will make Riley want to count the number of stripes on the shirt. ❤️💙

  6. Ali, which hospital or OB did u have for your placenta issue? I ask because I’m my area, the doctor refused to give me the medicine, they just gave the surgery option. They said no one in my area uses the medicine option, they just go right to the d
And c in all cases! Maybe because it’s primitive Kansas, but I felt so trapped. I decided just to wait it out and the piece came out on its own with no meds or surgery. But I wa frantic to avoid the surgery because it makes 20% of women infertile. If I get retained placenta again, I’ll fly to a doctor willing to let me try the misoprostol first.

  7. Your looks are so simple yet so put together, I love it! I am totally going to buy this purse! What a great deal. Thanks Ali!
