You won’t regret it....and your kids will love it and will most definitely benefit from it. And as for the weather here? You get used to it! The change of the seasons is absolutely glorious. My most favorite seasons are Spring and Fall...😍. I used to LOVE winter in the Midwest as a child/teen/young adult, too. Now that I’m older, I “tolerate” it. I just wear really cute, really warm clothing and adorable boots and I’m fine..😉. You will be, too.. And I bet your kids will looooove the winters! Snow, snowmen, snow angels, snow forts, snowball fights, catching snowflakes, sledding, tobaggoning, ice skating, hot chocolate by the fire after playing outside in the snow... I grew up in the burbs of Chicago — Palatine, Arlington Heights, went to Buffalo Grove High School..
