Girlie Day Out with Molly!

Morning luvs! Happy Thursday! I honestly just had to look up whether or not it was actually Thursday today. This has just been a crazy busy week for me and I feel like I’m running around like a chicken with my head cut off. I honestly thought today was Friday! Anyway, Molly and I are up and at ‘em early this morning because we are headed to a little get together for one of my friends kids. I’m so grateful that after a super busy week I get to spend a little quality mommy and daughter time with her. I’ve been beating myself up a lot lately because I’m working so much and I feel like I’m not getting enough quality time in with her. Especially because I want to get as much time with just me and her as possible before the second baby comes. It’s so crazy because as of yesterday, I’m 24 weeks pregnant which means in just 16 weeks, I’ll be a mother of two! That is so bizarre to me and honestly I’m freaking out a little bit.

Anyway, we got all dressed up in our dresses and we’re headed out for the day! Well, really we’re only headed out for the morning. Once we get home around 11 AM daddy will take over and I’ll probably wash all this makeup off my face and get into sweats. Ha! Plus we have some people coming over to the house in the late morning to do some work on the house so I’ll want to be in comfys.

We snapped these pictures quick and are headed out but I wanted to give you guys details on our outfits first. I’m absolutely obsessed with my Free People dress. I love it because the details on the dress are just so feminine and flirty! I also love it because sometimes I feel like you can barely tell I’m pregnant from certain angles. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love dressing my bump and showing it off frequently! But I would be lying if I didn’t say that seeing myself in my former body also makes me happy too. Well, really the illusion of my former body since I definitely still have a big ole baby bump under here. Point being, this dress hides EVERYTHING! Luv that 😉

The dress is really pretty but simple so I was able to pair it with this really fun clutch. I love the detail on it and I get so many questions when I’m carrying it. I also added fun statement beaded earrings that totally go with the dress! I feel like the earrings are almost the shape of the dress! I also put on a charm bracelet and a pair of fringe block heels. A block heel is a lifesaver for me right now because they’re so much more comfortable than regular heels! And I’m all about comfort right now! It also come in pink HERE which would be so cute for a baby shower for a baby girl (the one I’m wearing could be cute if you’re having a boy!) I’m wearing a medium FYI.

Details on Molly‘s look are below the picture!

Anyway, we are headed out the door but I just wanted to post this real quick before we go. I hope you all have a great Thursday and I hope all of you realize it’s Thursday and don’t think it’s Friday like I did! Ha! Luv you guys!

    1. I am going to start wearing them because I’m getting so big! But I try to find great non-maternity options when I can 🙂

      1. Zara has super cute maternity clothes & and I also got some super cute maternity jeans there too!!! You look fabulous pretty mama, I absolutely love following you and your sweet family! ❤️

  1. I’m only 8 weeks along, but am going to Mexico in May when I’ll be around 20 weeks. NEED this dress. I’m usually always the same size as you, so I gotta ask, what size did you get?

  2. I had to take a double look at that first picture, ur front door is so big it looks like you and molly were in a scene in “honey I shrunk the kids!” …remember that movie? haha…sorry that is kind of random…and ur new house looks awesome! Can’t wait to see ur posts on designing it. anyway, love the dress! and love that molly’s matches too 🙂

  3. Ali you and Molly both look absolutely beautiful! I’m curious if you will be revealing the gender of baby #2 or will we have to wait until the birth?

    🙂

    1. Honestly we just need to get our act together and take a cute picture to do a gender reveal! I’ve just been so busy that I haven’t thought about it! I will try to do it soon! I wanna share!

  4. Hope you ladies had a fun time on your Mama/Daughter outing.
the ‘threshold’ of your door might need a transition piece that’s on a slight angle so no one trips—-just a friendly suggestion.
I often gets the days mixed up
    😉

  5. Wow Ali! You are the femininity itself that unfolds in all its splendor. Just like a rose in full bloom that opens and spreads its scent gradually…
    I am dazzled.

  6. Okay first off your house looks absolutely gorg from what I’ve seen!!!!! Secondly, you’re front door pic got my hubby and I talking….how tall is it??!?? Looks just stunning, and so do you, mama! ❤️

  7. Hi Ali! I am in LOVE with this dress! I am 31 weeks pregnant and am thinking about ordering this to wear to my shower in a few weeks. I am 5’6″ and sometimes Free People dresses run a little short on me. Do you mind sharing your height?
