What fun you will have with Molly in your new home and pool! After reading your blog today, Monday: I grew up in N. CA, lived in Boston for a yr.–loved it!–and have lived in the Seattle area for 41! yrs. now! Almost all of my college friends and lots of family still live in N.CA and my BFF lives in Newport Beach. Before kids, I taught school and got really involved in lots of social service and college alum groups, most of which I continued and added to after the kids were born. I made tons of friends through my teaching and volunteering and even though I still missed my CA family and friends, my new friends and the “getting” that comes from giving through volunteering helped to fill my heart and temper the loneliness.
