Classically Girly

Hi friends! Happy Friday! It’s been a crazy busy week for me since I was at Entertainment Tonight all week (did you watch? Tell me what you thought in the comments below!). Plus I was taking care of Molly and trying to keep up with my blog. And I have a few other work things going on that have really kept me busy lately. But I’m not complaining because it’s all great stuff that I’m really grateful for. But man, it’s been super hot in LA the past couple days and this weekend is going to be a scorcher! So I’m sharing one of my favorite summary looks on the blog today!

And even though I do love the skirt and crop top, it’s not my favorite part of this look. My favorite part of this look is, without a doubt, 100% the SHOES! These Sole Society shoes are just so darling and super feminine. They’re also really comfortable because of the block heel. I feel like they take any outfit I’m wearing and instantly make it feel a bit more girly. These shoes are for sure one of my top picks for heels this summer! It’s really the only closed toe shoe that I’ve ever thought was perfect for summer!

The reason I wanted a really girly shoe with this outfit is because I felt like my top and skirt are so classically 50’s. I even felt like it accentuated my curves like a true 50’s pin-up!

I’m carrying the super gorgeous gray cross body bag. The neutral gray color makes it go with almost anything. At first I didn’t know if it was going to quite match my shoes and outfit but like I just said, it’s a light neutral gray so it goes with anything! By the way, sometimes I spell GRAY this way and then sometimes I spell GREY this other way. I think one is the American version and the other is the British version. But I think I like it with an E better. What do you guys like?

Anyway, back to my look. I finished it off with these statement earrings. The big bold round earrings just seem to fit with my playful look.

Hope you guys love this outfit! And trust me on the shoes. You want them!

Kevin and I are off to Big Bear now. We are headed there for the weekend to celebrate Father’s Day. I’m really excited to get away with Kevin and Molly (but sad Owen is staying home with a friend – he gets too anxious on long car rides and that’s not fair to him). And our dear friends Stef and Moses are meeting us there with their two kids. So it will be a really fun weekend away in the mountains! Follow along on Insta story to keep up with what we’re doing for the holiday weekend. It is after all Kevin’s first Father’s Day!

  1. Do you keep all of the clothes you model on your blog? If you do, you must have one hell of a closet! lol YOu did great on ET. I love seeing you on television again. I stopped watching the E! station after you left. Hopefully this will lead to something permanent.

  2. You did an awesome job on ET. Hope you get to do more projects with them. And maybe fill in more often.

Your outfits are always amazing have a great weekend.

  3. You look darling in that outfit! I love that you could casual it down with flat sandals or open-toed canvas espadrilles, too! I hope you enjoy a delightful Father’s Day Weekend in the mountains!

  4. I have had this dress in my Nordstrom shopping cart for a week! Seeing it on you just sold me!

Love your blog- my twin girls are 3 weeks younger than Molly, so it has been so fun to follow you and watch her grow at the same time as my littles!

  5. Hoping to get an answer as I have asked questions previously with no response and offered sleep training advice when you inquired! Will you share details on jean shorts in your IG story from big bear?! As a mom of a one year old, I’m having a hard time finding appropriate cut offs! Also, just curious why you are now working for ET as opposed to E?! Lastly, any comments on the bachelor in paradise situation? Really hope you can reply- thanks!
