Hey guys! I am in NYC today for a press day! It’s slightly chilly in the city but that’s not going to stop me from rocking this springtime look (I just wore a jacket over it when outside – except to take the first pic!) I love this look because it rocks TWO of the 2017 spring trends. Blush and Seaside Stripes. Blush is actually dubbed the “new nuetral” this spring. It’s almost neutral with just a hint of pigment in it.
You might actual recognize this top considering the fact that I wore the EXACT same one on Saturday! Ha! Just in a different color. Told you I love this top! And when you love a piece of clothing this much, you get it in more than one color. Saturday, I wore the grey version of the top with white jeans and today, I dressed it up a bit with a dress pant. A culotte to be exact! If you have been afraid to do a white pant in the past, this is a good way to start. The wide leg of the pants makes it very flatting! I’m wearing both a small in the pant and top. I normally would wear a medium in both. So I would say you should size down one size in both the top and pant.
I just wish I had tucked in the back on the shirt in the pics below (if would have looked better). But you can see it tucked in in the last picture below. But I’m not the one wearing it. Scroll to see what I mean 🙂
I paired the clothes with a necklace, bag and heels all from Sole Society. The necklace it a great piece for when you were tops with a scoop neck. Plus I just that it’s neutral, so it can go with pretty much an color. I carried this bag on Saturday too and a bunch of other times like with THIS look (One of my favorite looks ever!) And if you get these heels so will thank me! They are not only super cute, but the heel is low enough that they are SUPER comfy. But not so low that they look like a kitten heel. I so don’t do kitten heels.
Anyway, Kevin, Molly and I enjoyed our time in NYC! Headed home to LA tonight! Hope you guys have a great Tuesday!

Hi Ali – I love your blog and have ordered many pieces that you’ve featured. I recently received this top in both blush and gray and I am wondering what kind of a bra you wear underneath? Or are you wearing another skin-colored tank under? Reason I ask is because both colors (but especially the blush) seems see-through. Love them both, but not sure I’ll keep due to the thin material and seeing anything that sticks out from even the more t-shirt-like bra. Thanks for any feedback you can offer!
