Book Club Book Ideas!

Hi friends! I don’t know about you guys but I LOVE reading! Almost as much as I love my slouchy tees 😉 Ha! And I get so excited when friends recommend new books to me. So since we are all friends, I figured I would share some of my favorite books with all of you! And no, I’m not reading Catcher and the Rye type of books. I like to read page turners and fun, easy reading.

Here are a few of my favs books for book club…

  • Gone Girl
  • Girl on The Train
  • P.S. I Love You
  • The Husbands Secret
  • Heaven is For Real
  • The Help
  • Luckiest Girl Alive
  • Room
  • The Virgin Suicides

And of course for every book club you have to have cute clothes! I am wearing my absolute favorite slouch tee in this pic! I have it in 4 colors! You can see me wearing it HERE and HERE. These boyfriend ripped jeans are just too cute. And my watch is my forever fav at just $20. I’ve got my love bracelet on with it because I LUV book club night!

Oh and I can’t forget about great wine glasses! This wine glass is the exact glass that Olivia Pope drinks out of on Scandal. When I found them online I HAD to have them – so I bought a set of 8.

Please share your book recommendations with me in the comments below!!!

1) SLOUCHY TEE 2) RIPPED JEANS 3) LONG NECKLACE 4) SHORT NECKLACE 5) $20 WATCH 6) LOVE BRACELET 7) LIP COLOR 8) WINE GLASS

  1. Still Missing, Those Girls-both by Chevy Stevens…page turners! I’ve read almost all of the ones on your list!

  2. I would recommend the Girl Behind the Door by John Brooks. There hasn’t been anything quite like it. It details his journey to uncover the truth behind his daughter’s suicide off the Golden Gate Bridge. It will likely be made into a movie!

  3. I highly recommend reading the breathing series by Rebecca Donovan. I recommend them to everyone and they all love the series as well.

  4. Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon..AWESOME… Right now I’m listening to the Virgin River series by Robyn Carr…great books

  5. Dancing on Broken Glass – Ka Hancock
    Something Borrowed – Emily Giffin
    Nineteen Minutes – Jodi Picoult
Tuesdays with Morrie – Mitch Albom
The Fault in Our Stars – John Green

  6. The Expats by Chris Pavone, If You Were Here by Alafair Burke, Not Without You by Harriet Evans, The Repeat Year by Andrea Lochen, The Girl She Used To Be and The Exceptions by David Cristofano, anything by Liane Moriarty or Laura Dave. There are some great ones on your list–and a few to add to mine!

If you want a new Fifty Shades of Grey style series, Sylvia Day and E.K. Blaire both have similar series. If you haven’t already, download the app GoodReads. It’s a pretty great app if you love to read! ? Btw- love the slouchy tee! I ordered them tonight from Nordstrom Rack for $10! Happy reading Ali!
